Wordless Wednesday 09-14-11

Old church immediately north of Cache Creek, BC

For awhile now I have been wanting to do a photo series of old churches with tall steeples.  So I couldn't resist photographing this one while driving home from my parents' place a few weeks back.

Husbands, Marriage and Weddings

Vicki:  When I grow up, I want to have a fancy husband.

Me:  Oh? What makes a husband fancy?

Vicki:  Oh, he is very nice, wears nice clothes, has a big house, will take me places and give me jewels.  Lots. Of. Jewels.

Darin:  "It must suck to be married to me."  

Me:  "Why would you think that?"

Darin:  "Because I have been thinking a lot lately of places that I would like to take you, or things I would like to surprise you with.  But, in reality, we never go anywhere and I never do those things that I think of...."

Me:   "Oh, hmmm.  Ya, you're right!"

I'M KIDDING, I DID NOT SAY THAT HE WAS RIGHT!  

What I really said was, "Hmmm.  Those things would be nice, but clearly it doesn't suck to be married to you."     

Then we were interrupted by Vicki's hugs and kisses.  =)
