A pretty little something (Mostly Wordless Wednesday)

Lexi asked me quite awhile back to crochet her an infinity scarf.  I don't get to spend much time crocheting anymore, so it took me almost 3 months, but I finally got it done.

My photography skills don't do the color justice.  It is a beautiful light lavender.  *sigh*

Even less color showing here....  =(

It is the Bellfower Infinity Scarf from Naturally Caron.  However, for this one I didn't Caron yarn.  Sorry Caron.  Next time!!

Even my Jazzy likes it!

Well, Jazzy tolerates it at least.

Another mile up the mountain, looking back down.

Had the opportunity to stay at Timberline Lodge, elevation 6000, on Mt. Hood last week.  

The views left me absolutely in awe of creation.
The whole experience just left me feeling blessed beyond belief!

Wordless Wednesday 4-4-12 - Pure Gold

The lovely and talented Annyse dancing with her sword (well actually it was my sword because is out of balance) at the Spring Equinox Hafla.  Annyse featured her students as well as the Zahara Belly Dancers and the Visha Dancers!  It was both a hafla (a belly dance party) and a good-bye party for Annyse as she relocated to Edmonton with her honey.   

I wish you the best in your new hometown, Annyse.  

You are more than just my belly dance teacher, you are an inspiration and my friend.

Wordless Wednesday 3-14-12

 We recently moved the cats' tower into this corner by the doors.
Liquorice, our most adventurous cat, discovered she could jump up onto the door.
 Eva was too chicken to try it.

Liquorice then decided that she might be able to get across the other door to the book shelf, at which point I put down the camera and wrecked her fun.  Can't have her climbing all over my bookshelves.  No way.

Darin brought home this snake he found on a jobsite.  The girls were quite thrilled with it.

I love Vicki's marker stained, raggedy finger nailed hands. 



Nothing brings sisters together like a snake. 

(It was spirit day at school that day, and Vicki is sporting school colors.
