Time, that is.   I don't have enough of it.  So much to do!

I am going to be very tied up for the next several days.  No posts this week.

Hopefully, I can make up for it next week.

On our way home from Adventure Club last night:

Victoria: Oh and I want to be bat-mi-tized

Me: Do you mean baptised?

Victoria: Ya, bap-ti-mi-tized. Bat-tized.

Me: Baptised

Victoria: Bat-tismal-tized.

Me: Baptised

Victoria: Bap-ti-tised

Me: Baptised

Victoria: Bamp-ti- ..... oh forget it.

  Of course she and I both were having fits of giggles by the time we got home, over her not being able to pronounce the word.

Upon arriving and the house, she burst in the door and said, " Hi Daddy.  Guess what!?!?  I want to be bamp-ti-mi-tized!"

Dad:  What?

Insert roars of laughter from both Victoria and I here.

Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Bars - 2 Ways

If you have a lover of cookies and cream ice cream in your house.

If you open a package of Oreos, then turn around and they are gone.

If cheesecake a one of the main food groups on your household.

Then this is a recipe for you!

I got this recipe from Recipe Girl.  I have made it several times and it is always a hit.  Once, I converted it from squares into a cheesecake.  That rocked also.  And now, I have taken it a step further. 

Wordless Wednesday 3-14-12

 We recently moved the cats' tower into this corner by the doors.
Liquorice, our most adventurous cat, discovered she could jump up onto the door.
 Eva was too chicken to try it.

Liquorice then decided that she might be able to get across the other door to the book shelf, at which point I put down the camera and wrecked her fun.  Can't have her climbing all over my bookshelves.  No way.

10 Things Tuesday 3-1312

It's  10 Things Tuesday and today it's all about de-stressing.

How do you unwind when it's one of those days.  When you feel like everything is happening all at once.   When you feel like you are spinning way more plates than you can handle, or things just feel completely out of control. 

Whether it be at work or at home,  some times circumstances out of our control crash down onto us and we are slammed with more than feel the strength to carry.  Other times things build up day by day, then over time we find ourselves stressed out and overwhelmed.

I'm sure that most of us (wives) already do many of the things off this list, as well as many others every day,  but we all need a little help sometimes with creative ways to inspire your husband.  And who doesn't want to inspire their husband?

I have always believed that a healthy marriage is all about blessing our spouses.  And in these blessings, we are, of course, blessed in return.
